Legal occupations overall are expected to grow by 18%, including increases of 25% for paralegals, 21% for court reporters and 19% for lawyers. Protective service occupations are forecast to increase by 18%, with growth of 34% for private detectives and criminal investigators, 17% for police and sheriff's patrol officers, and 20% for security guards.
